The first thing she was passionate about was acting. However, she became interested in comedy when she was in her late teens and her first performance at the age of 17. Higginbotham has appeared on all Melbourne International Comedy Festival since she was the National Finalist at the festival’s Class Clowns comedy competition in 2005.
