Teddy Gipson is one of the most popular and richest American basketball player who was born on February 15, 1980 in Monroe, Louisiana, United States. Sergerio Montez “Teddy” Gipson (born 15 February 1980) is an American professional basketball player who most recently was a player for Donar from the Dutch Basketball League (DBL).
For the season 2012-13, Gipson participated in the 2012-13 season for Brose Baskets of the German League and the Euroleague. Gipson was released from Brose in February of 2013 due to some discontent with his position as a player. In the following month, the player signed with Limoges CSP in France. Then, in November of 2013, he joined Igokea. Then, in November of 2014, he relocating to Hungary and joined Szolnoki Olaj for the 2014-15 season.
On January 9, 2016, he returned to Igokea. On March 14, 2016, he left Igokea and signed with French club STB Le Havre for the rest of the season.
On October 19, 2017, Gipson signed a two-month contract with Donar of the Dutch Basketball League (DBL) to replace the injured Arvin Slagter. On December 22, 2017, Donar announced Gipson would play for the team for the remainder of the 2017–18 season. In May 2018, Gipson won his fourth Dutch League championship with Donar. On July 30, 2018, Donar announced Gipson re- signed for another season.
Following one year, the player came back to Amsterdam to play two seasons in the city. In those two seasons, Amsterdam won the Eredivisie each time. In June of 2008 Gipson recorded 27 points during Game 7 in the finals in the 77-72 victory against Den Bosch which delivered Amsterdam the trophy.
