Bidenko was a boxer who started as an amateur prior to turning professional in June of 2000, winning his first bout at Mariupol, Ukraine, in which Bidenko defeated Kiev opponent Stanislav Tomkatchov on the undercard of an Alexander Gurov fight.
In his only professional bout, Bidenko fought Nikolay Valuev in July 2002 in Seoul, South Korea for the Pan Asia PABA Heavyweight Title. Valuev at the time held a an average of 28-0 and was a lot more experienced than Bidenko in the moment. Valuev was victorious by scoring points in twelve rounds.
