In preparation for the Games, she spent up to nine hours a day in the pool.

Domrow participated in her 2008 Summer Olympics at the age of 18 years old. Her team finished seventh. Before going to Beijing she was a participant in a training camp lasting ten days on Melbourne’s Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre. After Beijing, she resigned from the sport. Beijing Games, she retired from competitive swimming for 18 months.
