Tamara Benitez is one of the most popular and richest Cinematographer who was born on October 14, 1983 in Metro Manila, Philippines. Benitez worked in 2007 as an Second Unit Cinematographer/2nd Camera Operator for the comedy film of Wenn Deramas Pasukob which starred Ai-Ai Alas. The Manila Bulletin praised the filmmakers of the film declaring “Indeed, “Pasukob,” showing on Nov. 28, is a gathering of winners and is guaranteed to translate to success via the excellent production.” The year 2008 was the last time she was camera operator for the Deramas as well as an Alas romantic comedy film called Ikaw pa rin: Bongga ka Boy!. It was in 2006 that Benitez worked as a cinematographer for the epic nine-hour film Heremias. In the following year, she became Director of Photography Lambanog which included Luis Alandy, John Lapus and C.J. Mercado.
