In 2011 Karpelesz became a member of Ironi Nes Ziona. On the 26th of April, 2013, Karpelesz recorded a career-high 26 points while shooting 10-of-12 from the field. He also came up with three assist and 3 steals during a playoff 90-98 defeat in the playoffs to Hapoel Galil Elyon. The second time he played for Nes Ziona, he scored 12.7 per game, 4.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.4 steals. He also helped the team get promoted into the Israeli Premier League for the first time in their history.

On February 7, 2015, Karpelesz recorded a season-high 19 points, shooting 7-of-11 from the field, along with three rebounds and three assists in a 91–86 win over CS Universitatea Cluj. In 48 games played during the 2014–15 season (in both the Romanian League and the FIBA EuroChallenge), he averaged 7.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 20.9 minutes per game. Karpelesz helped Rovinari reach the 2015 EuroChallenge Final Four, where they eventually finished in the third place.

On July 1, 2016, Karpelesz signed a one-year deal with Hapoel Gilboa Galil. However, on September 4, 2016, Karpelesz suffered an ACL injury during a practice and later was ruled out for the rest of the season.

On the 6th of August 2013 Karpelesz was signed to sign a year-long agreement to join his Romanian club Energia Rovinari after receiving a Romanian passport. In the inaugural season for Rovinari, Karpelesz helped the team take home the 2014 Romanian Cup after a 58-55 victory against CSM U Oradea.
