Tairia Mims Flowers (born on January 9th in 1981) is a famous American softball coach as well as an infielder. She is most well-known for being a part of the Gold medal winning United States National softball team. She played softball in the college at UCLA.
The year 2006 was the first time Flowers served as an assistant coach for UC Riverside. From 2007 until 2010 Flowers worked as an assistant at Long Beach State, during which Long Beach State made the NCAA Tournament in 2008 and in 2009.
Beginning in 2011, Flowers became head coach at Cal State Northridge. As of the 2018 season, Flowers has an overall 217–227 record, with her first winning season in 2014 with a 31–26. In 2015, Flowers led Cal State Northridge to a 41–17 record (16–5 in the Big West Conference) with an NCAA Tournament appearance and the program’s first sole Big West title.
As of 2005 Flowers was a player in The Arizona Heat of National Pro Fastpitch.

born Tairia Mims from Tucson, Arizona, Flowers graduated from Salpointe Catholic High School in 1999. She was a part of the UCLA Bruins softball team from 2000 until 2003 as a the first base position and as a catcher. In helping UCLA get to the finals during the 2000 Women’s College World Series, Mims hit .600 for the entire series and was selected for the All-Tournament Team. UCLA also finished runners-up at the time of 2001’s Women’s College World Series and they won in 2003 the Women’s College World Series. Flowers was the first team NFCA All-American and a first-team All-Pac-10 honouree in 2003.
As a player on the United States women’s national softball team since 2001, Flowers won gold at the 2002 Women’s Softball World Championship, 2003 Pan American Games, 2004 Summer Olympics and the The 2006 World Cup of Softball, and 2007 Pan American Games and silver at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Flowers currently serves as the head coach for the softball team at Cal State Northridge. She was named head coach beginning in the 2010 season.
