Ragsdale was born in Nashville she was being the child of pop/country artist Ray Stevens (whose legal last name is Ragsdale). When she was 10, she began singing on children’s albums and by age 11 she was singing on music songwriters’ demos to publish. She sang in the chorus of the song of her dad Ray Stevens’ song “Everything Is Beautiful.”

Ragsdale released her debut single album Future Past in 1998. From 1999 to 2000, Ragsdale was based at London, England, writing and performing throughout the UK as well as Europe. In 2007 Ragsdale started the Stark Raven/Clyde Records label. She released two EPs entitled The Best Regards (2009) as well as More of the same (2010). Both discs were released in a set in the year 2010.
