Hostin married orthopedic surgeon Emmanuel Hostin, in August 1998. She lives with her husband and their two children, Gabriel, born on August 15, 2002, and Paloma, born on May 5, 2006, in Purchase, New York. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.
