Steve Power is one of the most popular and richest Record Producer who was born on June 8, 1960 in Liverpool, England, United Kingdom. Power started his career in the world of music as an artist in Hambi and The Dance, who were signed to Virgin Records in 1981. After the deal’s advance, Hambi built the Pink Recording Studios in Liverpool where they recorded their debut album. As the band went performing, Power stayed to run into the studio as commercial business and started recording groups that were part of their local Liverpool scene. The clients comprised Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Dead or Alive, Black and A Flock of Seagulls.

Power continues to produce and mixing albums. Recent releases include Beth Rowley’s Little Dreamer, Stephen Duffy’s Runout Groove, and Julian Velard’s The Planeteer, Nerina Pallot’s The Graduate, Brazilian superstar Sandy Leah’s Manuscrito, Hind Laroussi’s Crosspop and upcoming albums by Julian Velard, British Sea Power, Bauer and Wonderland. Power also has production and writing credits for the songs featured in The Kevin Sampson movie Powder due to be released in spring of 2011. In 2013, the band launched “Magma” by Selig a German group that hails from Hamburg (selig.eu)

In 1997, following an impressive run in the charts, including babybird’s “You’re Gorgeous” and Babylon Zoo’s “Spaceman”, long standing collaborator and friend, producer and writer Guy Chambers approached Power to collaborate on a solo album for former Take That bandmate Robbie Williams. The album’s first release, Life thru a Lens continued to be in the British top ten, and 218 weeks total and was the 58th most popular album of UK History with sales over 2.4 Million. Chambers and Power were jointly named ‘Producer of the Year by the International management Forum in recognition of the album. Power was later able to create the next four Williams albums: I’ve Been Looking For You Sing When You’re Winning Swing When You’re Winnin’, and Escapology All of them sold over 2 million copies in the UK in the first instance, with each album included in the top 100 Most Popular UK albums which makes Williams the most successful British Solo artist throughout the time of United Kingdom.
