Steven “Steve” Martinez (born November 25 1974) is an American professional wrestler who is known as his name in the ring, Steve DeMarco. He currently works with the Pro Wrestling Alliance, and is also known for his performances in the Arlington Texas-based Professional Championship Wrestling, where the organization recognizes him as the initial Grand Slam Champion.

DeMarco was a part of two matches for World of Wrestling in 2008. On October 10 he fought Mysterious Q to win his Cruiserweight Championship in a two out of three falls battle that resulted with an unbeatable draw. The second and final time he appeared was in November 14 in which the wrestler faced Michael Faith in a losing effort to win an opportunity to win the Heavyweight Championship.

After receiving training from Chavo Guerrero Sr. as well as George de la Isla, Martinez began his professional debut on the scene in the year 2001, under the name of Steve DeMarco. In 2002 Martinez was a member of NWA Southwest, a territory of the National Wrestling Alliance territory NWA Southwest and later was awarded the Texas Heavyweight Championship after defeating JP Black on June 21 and launching a fight with him during the process. He lost the title again against Black the following day on august 1, before beating Black once more for the title on the 26th of October at the NWA’s 54th anniversary event “Battle of the Belts”. Black was crowned champion time on the 31st of May, putting an end to their dispute.

Following the loss of his Cruiserweight Title, DeMarco formed an alliance together with Action Jackson, and both went on to be the winners of the Tag Team Championship after defeating The Professionals (Mike Thunder and John Allen). DeMarco continued to collect additional titles as the beat Canyon to win The Television Championship, the Television Championship, The Uncut Title and eventually winning the Heavyweight Championship after winning a one-night competition, where DeMarco defeated BJ Turner Lance Hoyt, and Shawn Hernandez to claim the title. But, DeMarco soon lost the Tag Team, Television and Heavyweight titles, the latter of which was to Hoyt and then he won the title from Hoyt during the Rematch.

In early 2009, DeMarco began working for the Austin-based Total Championship Wrestling. After appearing on the company’s first ever show, he cut a program welcoming the fans in attendance to “The Lucha Lounge”, a nod to his YouTube online show of the same. Later on in the night, he became the promotion’s first Heavyweight Champion after defeating Dark Star.
