Stacy has the parents of John and Elva Reed. John is an Inspector retired from Harris County. He worked in Harris County for over thirty years. Elva was a teacher in Harris County’s Houston Independent School District for more than 30 years. She passed away of Leukemia during her stay at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital in December of 2006.

In 2007 Stacy released her novel, “Everlasting” published by Simon and Schuster’s imprint, Strebor Books. The book, which focuses on a romance between Latino teens is noted as the Romeo and Juliet for today’s generation and has become a favorite with readers from all walks of life. In June 2008 Stacy released her third book, “Melody” also with Simon and Schuster. The book is Stacy’s first thriller and mystery work.
