Stacy Bromberg is one of the most popular and richest Darts Player who was born on July 27, 1956 in Los Angeles, California, United States. Stacy Bromberg (July 27, 1956 – – February 12 in 2017) was an American darts player who was a PDC Women’s World Darts Champion. Bromberg was born in Los Angeles, California, and was a dominant player on the American darts competition over the past decade, being the winner of the US women’s championship 11 times.

In her role as the PDC Women’s World Champion, Stacy was invited as a invited guest for the PDC at a variety of PDC events, including weeks three and four of 888.com Premier League Darts at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast as and a number of Players Championships. Since 2011, she has been recognized with BDO. BDO with a ranking of 106 on the BDO invitation women. She declined numerous invitations from the ADO to participate in their National events because of their decision as well as the WDF to bar her from defending the World championship to be held in Dublin, Ireland, because she had competed in four PDC events during the year prior.

Following numerous battles with cancer, Bromberg died at her home in Las Vegas, aged 60, on February 12, 2017.

After taking home the PDC Women’s World Championship, Bromberg was selected for 2010’s Grand Slam of Darts, in which she lost the three group games she played in the group games to Mervyn King John Henderson, and Terry Jenkins

Bromberg took home her first North American Open in 1995 and was in Finals of 1995’s Women’s World Masters, losing to England’s Sharon Colclough. She also was a finalist to play in an appearance at the BDO Women’s World Darts Championship but fell two sets to zero in the final to Francis Hoenselaar of the Netherlands. The following year, she won the Women’s Las Vegas Desert Classic in her home town in Las Vegas, Nevada, beating Deta Hedman by six legs to four at the end of the tournament. She went on to win her finals in 2004,, but fell to Trina Gulliver 6-5.

2009 was a record year for the sport, with Stacy triumphing in her first WDF World Cup Women’s Singles Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina (USA) using steel tip darts, and also winning the Shanghai women’s singles Champion using soft-tip darts. Stacy became the first PDC Women’s World Champion, after beating Tricia Wright in the championship final 6-5. She also defeated Russian World Ladies Champion Anastasia Dobromyslova, who was in the semi-finals.

Originally from Los Angeles, Bromberg lived in Las Vegas. She was a fan of the Oakland Raiders and got her nickname The Wish Granter from her work in various charities. She made her full-time living as a private detective although she gave it up, when she came to prominence after winning the inaugural PDC Women’s World Championship. She then taught as a substitute teacher with the Clark County School District until a cancer diagnosis in 2012 and 2013 rendered her unable to teach.
