Sonia May Lannaman (born 24 March 1956) is a British former athlete who competed mostly in the 100 meter race. She was awarded the Commonwealth Games 100 metres title in Edmonton 1978, and also won the Olympic silver medal during the 4x 100m relay in the 1988 Moscow Games. For the year 1977, in Track and Field News world merit ranking, she was as the second best athlete in the world in 100m (to Marlies Gohr) and 200 meters (to Irena Szewinska).

Lannaman is a native of Aston, Birmingham, England and was a participant during her very first Olympics during 1972 (held at Munich) and established the British junior record in 11.45 seconds. In 1973, she became European junior champion and won gold in the 100 meters followed by an Olympic bronze medal at the end of the 100 m relay. In 1974, at the Commonwealth Games in Christchurch she took home a silver medal for the 4 100 meters relay.

She also reached the 200 m final, finishing eighth.
