Her debut album was titled Vindens Farver or Colours of the Wind which is the title track from the Disney film Pocahontas and with which she was awarded Scenen er Din. She also plays the violin as well as the piano.
Simone made her return to Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2016 in 2016 with the track “Heart Shaped Hole”. She finished in third place three times after advancing to her Superfinal stage.
