After her departure of the stage April 8, 2009, she continued to work at the Royal Theatre until 2016, acting as artistic coordinator, instructor (2009-11) as well as deputy choreographer (2011-16). She is now the director of the performance of Giselle.

Silja Maria Wendrup Schandorff (born 1969) is a Danish ballerina who danced with the Royal Danish Ballet from 1985 to 2009. Since then, she has been with as a dance instructor at Royal Theatre as ballet instructor and as deputy ballet master.
