Shreyan Chattopadhyay is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on March 19, 1997 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Since his early years, Chattopadhyay worked as an actor for his father’s Bengali theater company, Sansriti. In 2010 at the age 13 years old, he was selected as the child actor of the main character in Zee Bangla’s small-screen production of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s Devdas. He was a young actor was highly praised and he was then invited to play with Sujan Mukhopadhyay in the father’s stage production, “Break Fail”. Since then, he’s not returned to the stage. Chattopadhyay finished his education at Salt Lake School. At school the time he was in school, he played in of the school group “Chords of Canopy”, as the lead guitarist.

Shreyan Chattopadhyay started his career as a composer for theatre in the year 2017 by composing the score for Arpita Ghosh’s production of “Machi”. The same year, he composed the score for Shyamal Chakraborty’s production of “Hontarok”. In the year 2018, Shreyan Chattopadhyay worked for the first time in one his father’s productions as composer. He composed the music scoring for his dad’s play “Amodito Roddur”; which was staged under the auspices of Pancham Baidik. His score for the play was praised by the critics. He scored Rajib Bardhan’s Bengali adaptation of the play by Henrik Ibsen The Night We Dead Awaken; the production was called “Jaganiya Mritajan”. Chattopadhyay composed and performed music entirely electronically for his father’s very first production under the auspices of Swapnasandhani. The score he wrote was composed for “1984?” (Debesh Chattopadhyay’s production from George Orwell’s novel of the same name Nineteen Eighty-Four) also featured two voice-overs from Debshankar Haldar, and Arpita Ghosh, respectively. The play’s “raucous soundtrack” for the film received praise from the critics.
