Shobu Kapoor is one of the most popular and richest Actor who was born on May 28, 1961 in London, England, United Kingdom. Shobu Kapoor (born 28 May 1961) is an Indian-born British actor who is of Indian origin.

She starred as Talayeh Kirmani in BBC show Banglatown Banquet and the Irish RTE soap Fair City (as Talayeh Kirmani). In 2007 she appeared in the role of minor Umi on Shameless, a Channel 4 drama Shameless. She also starred as a character in “Journey’s End”, the fourth season finale on Doctor Who, where her character was killed by the hand by the Daleks.

Kapoor is currently playing the roles of Shazia Malik in the BBC Asian Network radio soap Silver Street and Razia Khan in the BBC sitcom Citizen Khan. In 2015, she made a guest appearance in CBBC show Hank Zipzer.

The film also featured Taj’s mom on Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj (2006) and Mrs. Khan as Mrs Khan in Mischief the Night (2006). She played mom of Meredith Kercher in the TV film Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy (2011).
