Shigehiro Irie (Ru Jiang Mao Hong , Irie Shigehiro, born on March 28th 1988) is a Japanese professional wrestler and mixed martial artist who is most well-known for his involvement as a wrestler in DDT Pro-Wrestling (DDT). Irie has also wrestled with All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW), Big Japan Pro Wrestling (BJW) as well as several North American independent promotions in the past.
The 1st of April, 2012 Irie failed to challenge All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) competitor Kenny Omega for the World Junior Heavyweight Championship. On May 4, at an Union Pro Wrestling event, Irie was joined by Shuji Ishikawa to win the BJW Tag Team Championship, beating Shinobu along with Yoshihito Sasaki. They lost the title in the hands of Shinobu as well as Yuji Okabayashi on 15 July. Irie and Ishii joined forces with Soma Takao in Team Dream Futures to enter the tournament to compete for their vacant KO-D 6 Man Tag Team Championship and won the title by beating Oishi, Akito and Takagi in the final on the 12th of January. The trio fell short of the title by defeating Monster Army (Yuji Hino, Antonio Honda and Daisuke Sasaki) on the 27th of January. Irie was granted the right to fight for the KO-D Openweight Champion on February 24, and then defeated Kenny Omega on March 20 to claim the title his first win. He was defeated by Harashima on the 18th of August. On January 26 in 2014 Irie was unsuccessful in his attempt to challenge Harashima to a second match to win the title. Irie, Ishii and Soma Takao were able to win the KO-D Six Man Championship and again during February 2014. They did this by beating Aja Kong Danshoku Dino as well as Makoto Oishi. However, they lost on Ibushi, Omega and Sasaki in April.
Irie debuted in the United States on July 24 for GALLI Lucha Libre (GALLI), unsuccessfully challenging Marshe Rockett for the GALLI Junior Heavyweight Championship. Irie again competed for GALLI on July 29, teaming with Gringo Loco and Skayde Jr. to defeat Zema Ion, GPA and Matt Knicks. Irie debuted for Independent Wrestling Association Mid-South (IWA Mid-South) on August 4, losing to Reed Bentley. Two days later he debuted for Hoosier Pro Wrestling (HPW), defeating JKO. He wrestled his final match before returning to Japan on September 6 for IWA Mid-South, losing to Chris Hero in a triple threat match also featuring Kongo Kong. Irie has also competed in various other American indy promotions including WCWO, AAW, Pro Wrestling Blitz, Freelance Wrestling, Resistance Pro Wrestling, MIAW, UPW, AIW, Global Force Wrestling, AWS, and Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. Irie defeated Silas Young to become the new MIAW Heavyweight Champion on September 6 in Milwaukee. Irie also won the WCWO Young Guns Tournament featuring the top 12 prospects of the mid-west area held on October 5, 2016 in Indianapolis.
In April 2018, Irie defeated Konosuke Takeshita to once again become KO-D Openweight Champion. Irie would lose the championship to Sami Callihan on August 1, 2018. On September 25, 2018, Irie announced his departure from DDT.

- He was paired with other DDT rookie Keisuke Ishii, who lost to NJPW’s Tomoaki Homa as well as the freelancer Tsuyoshi Kikuchi. Irie started to see more success in 2011 starting on May 21, when he defeated veteran DDT veteran Kota Ibushi who eliminated his name in the 2011 King of DDT tournament. In the following month Irie created a team of Munenori Sawa. The team took on Gentaro as well as Yasu Urano to take home the KO-D Tag Team Championship, however, they lost the title a few days afterward against Kenny Omega and Michael Nakazawa. Irie took part in a fall count-anywhere match the following month, partnering together with Takagi as well as SeXXXy Eddy to lose in the face of Omega, Ibushi and Nakazawa. The 10th of October Irie took home the KO-D Tag Team Championship once again, this time with Keisuke Ishii to beat Makoto Oishi as well as Danshoku Dino. Irie is a native of Osaka. He began his professional wrestling career in 2002 , at 15 years old, training with Atsushi Kotoge from Osaka Pro Wrestling. Irie later decided to go after MMA by participating in several amateur fights, including a few in Pancrase. Irie began training again in 2007 at Dera Pro Wrestling in Nagoya and made his debut in April, 2008 with Shota Takanashi.
In the month of May, Irie was sporadically appearing in DDT Pro-Wrestling (DDT), mostly in teams with other new wrestlers against experienced wrestlers. In August of 2010, Irie defeated Soma Takao in a one-day event. DDT owners Sanshiro Takagi became a fan of Irie after watching him play and offered him more frequent reservations through DDT because of.
Im August 2014, Irie, Ishii and Takao captured the KO-D 6 Man Tag Team Championship once again, defeating Shuten-dōji (Yukio Sakaguchi, Masa Takanashi and Kudo). They dropped the championship to T2Hii (Takagi, Toru Owashi and Kazuki Hirata) on September 28. On March 1, 2015, Irie, Ishii and Takao defeated Shuten-dōji to once again become KO-D 6 Man Champions, but dropped the championship back to them in their first defence. Team Dream Futures defeated Shuten-dōji on April 11 to regain the championship and successfully defended them until September when they lost to #OhkaTeikoku (Ken Ohka, Danshoku Dino and Super Sasadango Machine). Team Dream Futures once again captured the KO-D 6 Man Championship in May, defeating Kazusada Higuchi, Kouki Iwasaki and Shunma Katsumata. In his farewell match, Irie teamed with Yukio Sakaguchi to defeat Harashima and Keisuke Ishii.
