Sherzod Husanov (born 27 January 1980) is a boxer from Uzbekistan who was awarded gold medals in the 2001 as well as 2003 World Amateur Boxing Championships and was a participant at the 2004 and 2000 Olympics.
He entered the professional ranks at light middleweight in 2007 and fought 17 times with one draw, but displayed little power. The draw came against an amateur fighter in Timur Nergadze who he beat in the match rematch.
He was able to qualify to compete in the Athens Olympic Games by winning the silver medal at the 2004 Asian Amateur Boxing Championships in Puerto Princesa, Philippines. In the final , he lost to South Korean’s Kim Jung-Joo. In the 2004 Summer Olympics the athlete was defeated by the Worlderweight (69 kilograms) division by the two-time champion of Russia Oleg Saitov.
