Shelley Gautier (born 31 October 1968) is a Canadian Paralympic medalist in para-cycling. Gautier was awarded a bronze medal at the 2015 Summer Paralympics for the female time-trial event and also won a string of gold medals in the UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships between 2010 and the year 2018. Gautier started her career in sports during her time at university as a student athlete. Following a head injury as well as a the coma that occurred during 2001 Gautier discovered she had hemiparesis, a condition that affects the left side of her body. Following her accident, Gautier started competing in disabled sailing before moving to para-cycling. During her time of disability sailing, Gautier won the Silver Fleet competition in the Mobility Cup. She was also in charge of the Disabled Sailing Association of Ontario from 2006 until 2007.
Outside of UCI, Gautier won a silver at the 2011 Parapan American Games and 2015 Parapan American Games in the mixed time trial events. After not medalling at the 2012 Summer Paralympics, Gautier received a bronze medal in the women’s time trial event at the 2016 Summer Paralympics.
