Ambepitiya was trained by coach Sunil Gunawardena, Currently trains in Jamaica under the guidance of coach Glean Mills, who is also the coach of the world’s fastest athlete Usain Bolt, as well as Olympic champion Yohan Blake, who will be his trainer for the upcoming events.
