Shawn Graham is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on February 22, 1968 in Rexton, New Brunswick, Canada. Then, in June of this year, the group designated to examine the Commission on Post- Secondary Education reported to the government. Graham declared that government will not follow the recommendations to create polytechnics but would follow the recommendations to more integration between colleges and universities in the province. He also said that they would provide at least $90 million of new funds. The government announced in July that Graham has committed $20 million towards the rehabilitation of the Petitcodiac River. The river’s system was altered by an embankment in 1960s.
The second session began on the 2nd day Graham’s government put forward an 100-page bill dubbed the Modernization of Benefits and Obligations Act to alter the laws of all provinces to make common law couples of the same gender as equal to couples of opposite genders, in line with the M. V. H. decision of the Supreme Court of Canada in 1999. The prior Conservative government, which was in power from 1999 until 2006 did not propose such legislation.
Surprising many pundits, Graham was successful in taking a solid lead during delegate selection meetings in February and March 2002, and, as a result, Duffie dropped out of the race. This left only fringe candidate Jack MacDougall in the race who Graham defeated by a 3 to 1 margin at the May convention.
Liberal leader Camille Theriault resigned in March 2001, and a leadership convention was set for May 12, 2002. Few candidates emerged for this campaign and it appeared that former cabinet minister Paul Duffie would win virtually unopposed. Graham was urged to run, and eventually entered the race with the support of Greg Byrne, a previous leadership contender, and many of the supporters of Bernard Richard, also a former leadership contender and the interim leader following the resignation of Theriault.
Graham earned his degree from University of New Brunswick, as a graduate from both Harrison House as well as Neill House and Neill House, following which he graduated with his education from St Thomas University in Fredericton. Graham was a part of his time prior to his entry into politics as an elected official for the provincial civil service. After his father quit his position in the provincial legislature, Shawn Graham was elected to succeed his father in a by-election held by the Premier Camille Theriault as a member of the Liberal Party. After the general election in 1999 and The Liberals decreased their seats from 10 to 10,, down from 45. By the beginning of 2001, they had been reduced to seven seats due to an resignation by several cabinet ministers. The young politician was given the opportunity to make a name for himself.
