Sharon “Shari” Ulrich (born 17 October 1951) is a musician from Canada and America and songwriter. She was awarded an award called the Juno Award for “Most Promising Female Vocalist of the Year” and has worked as an actress, TV host and film composer as well as an educator. A multi-instrumentalist, she plays violin, mandolin, guitar, piano, and dulcimer.

Ulrich composed music for Sesame Street and composed theme music for a variety of networks which includes the CBC. In 1989, she founded UHF, a folk-based group. UHF together the likes of Bill Henderson (Chilliwack) and Roy Forbes.

Ulrich continues to perform solo (often accompanied by daughter Julia Graff on violin, piano, mandolin, guitar, accordion and vocals). Graff also engineered and produced Ulrich’s 2014 release “Everywhere I Go” and Bentall Taylor Ulrich’s 2016 “Tightrope Walk” She tours occasionally with the Pied Pumkin, UHF, BTU and bluegrass group The High Bar Gang. She lives on Bowen Island, British Columbia.

Ulrich is married (1989 from 1989 to in 1996) to songwriter, musician and painter David Graff. They have a daughter, Julia Graff, who is also a multi- instrumentalist (violin, mandolin, piano, guitar, accordion & vocals) and is a busy audio engineer, music editor in film and television, and videographer having received her Masters In Music in Sound Recording from McGill University in 2013. Shari also has her child, Mike Magee, who was adopted in 1967. With whom she was reunited in 2009 which is an architect from Eugene, OR where he lives with his wife Ann and daughter Abigail.
