Shannon Kleibrink (born October 7 1967 in Norquay, Saskatchewan) is a retired Canadian curler from Okotoks, Alberta. Her team consisting comprising the third Amy Nixon, second Glenys Bakker and leading Christine Keshen and alternate Sandra Jenkins took part in representing Canada in Canada’s Canadian team at the 2006 Winter Olympics held in Turin, Italy. They were awarded bronze.

In 2009, the team fell to Heather Nedohin’s team in the Alberta Scotties Tournament of Hearts semi-finals, and did not make it to the national championships in that year’s edition. But, Kleibrink did see some results, as they won at the 2010 Canada Cup of Curling, beating Marie-France Larouche in final. Additionally, Kleibrink earned a direct place in this year’s Canadian Olympic Curling Trials to be held in Edmonton. In the Olympic Trials, Kleibrink lost in the final to Cheryl Bernard. Kleibrink was unable to get to the Scotties once more, falling in the final to Valerie Sweeting in the 2010 Alberta Scotties Tournament of Hearts final.

For the 2012/2013 season, Kleibrink will add Kalynn Park to her lineup at second position. Kleibrink’s longtime third Amy Nixon decided to leave and form her own rink. Bronwen Webster will move up to play third and Chelsey Matson will remain at lead. Park joined the team at the end of the 2011/2012 season, playing in one tournament, the 2012 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational, at the third position.

For the 2015/2016 season, Kleibrink has added Sarah Wilkes and Alison Kotylak to her team.

Her most impressive performance during her participation in the Scotties Tournament of Hearts to date was at the 2008 tournament held in Regina, Saskatchewan where she was representing Alberta for the third time. They placed first in the round robin competition with a 10-1-0 record. They later defeated Sherry Middaugh from Ontario to make it to the finals for the very first time. However, she was eliminated in the finals in the finals by Jennifer Jones of Manitoba.

Kleibrink was first introduced at 1993’s Scott Tournament of Hearts, Canada’s national curling championship. her team consisting of Sandra Jenkins, Sally Shigehiro and Joanne Wright finished 6-5 representing the team Alberta. Kleibrink did not make it to her place in the Scotts for the second time until 2004 however during that time she reached Finals in the 1997 Olympic Trials. As of 2005, Kleibrink was the winner of that season’s Canada Cup where she beat Jan Betker in the final. In the following the same year Kleibrink became a participant in the Olympics after they defeated Team Kelly Scott from Kelowna, British Columbia at the 2005 Canadian Olympic trials. The team of Kleibrink started the competition with a 1-3 record before winning seven straight games to earn the right to play. In the final game of the championship match, Kleibrink had scored three points and won the game 8-7.

It was announced at the 2011 Canada Cup of Curling, that following the event, Bronwen Webster, who is pregnant, will sit out the rest of the season and be replaced by Carolyn McRorie, who had filled in for Kleibrink earlier in the season, and Matson, who did not participate in the Canada Cup for family obligations.
