Shane Embury is one of the most popular and richest Musician who was born on November 27, 1967 in Broseley, England, United Kingdom. Shane Embury (born 27 November 1967) is a British bassist. He is, as of 1987, a member of the grindcore and death metal group Napalm Death.

Embury is also in the band with Napalm Death bandmate Danny Herrera, Kevin Sharp of Brutal Truth along with Danny Lilker of Nuclear Assault and Brutal Truth in the band Venomous Concept; and has recently performed together with UK black metal/grindcore group Anaal Nathrakh. Embury has recently revived a music project known as Absolute Power along with producer buddies Simon Efemey & Russ Russell which he formed in 2000. It was a collaboration with Tim “Ripper” Owens on vocals and Brian Tatler of Diamond Head on guitar. The album’s debut was made available as a download only through Shane’s Feto Records label in 2011. In the past, Embury played on the most recent Liquid Graveyard album, By Nature So Perverse, featuring Cancer guitarist and frontman John Walker, drummer Nicholas Barker and vocalist Raquel Walker. The album was which was released in 2016.

Embury has many projects he has been involved in. He was a member of the band grindcore Unseen Terror with Mitch Dickinson and was also part of Heresy. He was a member of an industrial metal group named Blood from the Soul with Lou Koller from New York’s Sick of it All, that released an album single To Spite the Gland That Breeds in 1993. He was part of an industrial group with Mitch Harris and several Obituary members that was called Meathook Seed. He was also a part of an unorthodox band named Malformed Earthborn together with the bass player of Brutal Truth Dan Lilker, Lock Up together with Tomas Lindberg of At the Gates as well as Brujeria which was which was a Mexican death metal group from Mexico.

Prior to becoming a member of Napalm Death, Embury played drums in a death- metal band known as Warhammer along with Mitch Dickinson. The band released a demo in 1985 titled Abattoir of Death. In the years following Warhammer, Embury and Mitch worked as Unseen Terror. Embury was also a drummer in Azagthoth alongside his fellow Warhammer guitar player Wayne Aston and bassist Pete Giles. Azagthoth recorded a demo in Rich Bitch Studios in Birmingham known as Shredded Flesh.

Although he is not the founding members, Embury remains the longest remaining member of the band taking part in the Scum tour after replacing former bassist Jim Whitley in 1987. He was a huge fan of the band prior to when joining, having first seen the band perform at the Midlands nightclub The Mermaid the previous year and then becoming close to the band members including Mick Harris. Nicholas Bullen, the founding member of the group was the first to ask Shane to join them prior to making the album’s B-side from the album’s debut Scum however Shane decided to decline because of his nervousness. This was his greatest regret.
