Seonaid McIntosh is one of the most popular and richest Sport Shooter who was born on March 15, 1996 in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Seonaid McIntosh (born 15 March 1996) is a British sports shooter who won the World Champion at the 2018 ISSF World Shooting Championships in the 50m Prone Rifle competition. In 2019, she was Britain’s greatest female rifle Shooter ever and won three World Cup medals (including the first World Cup Gold to be taken by an British Woman), becoming the first British Woman to rank World #1 in three- round shooting in the 50m Rifle Position event, and also becoming the European Champion in the 300m Rifle Prone event with the same World Record scores. McIntosh is the child of four-time Commonwealth Games medalist Shirley McIntosh and Donald McIntosh, and younger sister of British Olympic Shooter Jennifer McIntosh. In 2017, she was the winner of in the women’s 3-x20 rifle competition during the 2017 European Shooting Championships in Baku which made her a European Champion. Sister Jennifer was also the winner of the women’s 50m Prone Rifle earlier in the week, and was European Champion in that event.

In November 2017 Seonaid was chosen for Scotland’s squad for 2018. Commonwealth Games At the Games she was able to qualify in the Air 10m Rifle with 7th place finishing 5th in the final. For the 50m Prone Rifle, she took home the Bronze medal as well as for the 50m rifle three Positions placed 6th, and worked towards winning the Bronze medal in the final. In 2016, Seonaid was in the British Shooting World Class Performance Programme and working towards Tokyo 2020.

At the European Championships in September 2019 Seonaid won Bronze in the 50m Prone Rifle Mixed Team (Pairs) event with teammate Kenneth Parr. She went on to win Gold in the 300m Prone Rifle, equalling the World Record with a score of 599(ex600).

In August at the Rio de Janeiro leg of the World Cup McIntosh won Silver in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle. She went on to win Gold in the Women’s 3×40 Rifle, becoming the first British Woman to win a World Cup Gold Medal. This result moved her from fourth to first in the ISSF World Rankings for Three Position Rifle in the September 2019 Rankings, making her the first British Woman to be ranked World #1.

In the 2014 Commonwealth Games, she competed in the air rifle 10 meters event and finished 19th.

Seonaid played in the in school (Dollar Academy) as well as at club level.
