Seema Rahmani is one of the most popular and richest Actor who was born on December 3, 1969 in Kuwait, India. Seema was able to take a break from her corporate public relations position located in Los Angeles, California in 1997 to travel to Spain. After returning from Barcelona she made the decision to end her corporate career and go to theater at Los Angeles, thus beginning her acting career. Her first appearances were in two shows on television that she was in – Alias in the series for ABC in 2000 and Roswell in Warner Brothers 2000-2001. Rahmani made the move back to India in 2003 to work in films like Vinod Pande’s true-story-inspired Sins in 2005, where she was recognized for her range and fluidity in exploring the vulnerability of characters, Zee TV Films’ Arjun Varma and Missed Call, a film produced by Mridul Instrumentadas, and Vinay Subrmanium. The latter was awarded to be the Best International film at Israel’s Red Sea International Film Festival. Rahmani’s performance was praised in the highly-rated comedy film Loins of Punjab Presents in 2007 which was awarded an Audience Award for best feature film at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles. The films earned her respect and attracted the interest of independent filmmakers looking to find the “effortlessly natural” actor and the “quintessential Indian face”.

In 2013, Seema returned to the stage after 10 years. This time she was in Delhi producing, writing, directing and performing. The play she wrote and directed was Life Like Rainbow Grey, the premiere performances of which were commissioned by the American Embassy at New Delhi, in celebration of Women’s International Day (also on World Peace Day), was well-received. It was was chosen as part of The Contemporary Arts Festival, is an authentic recounting her experiences dealing with kids who were in the State of California and were living in a group home that was institutionalized and operated by a religious institution. It contains the use of original poems and songs and also explores the issue of healthy marriages and parenting. Rahmani created a collection of monologues and short-acts, and skits for kids. She continued to write and stage numerous productions.

Her work as a TV-show anchor forayed into her hosting select live events, including the 21st Annual World Travel Awards Asia and Australasia Ceremony held in 2014, in India, an awards event called “The Oscars” of the travel industry by The Wall Street Journal.

Seema has produced a timeless music album “Rab Se…”, an original collection of carefully crafted empowering & loving lullabies and songs in Hindi “for children and their adults” [released January 2016]. She worked with the slum’s children and several parents, empowering them through counselling and discussions. She brought to the children yoga, meditation, creative arts, educational field trips and fun outings in nature. Her goals were received wholeheartedly by over 40 children and their families and the upliftment of children’s lives through an empowered sense of self was achieved over a span of three years.
