Scott Daniel Sizemore (born January 4 1985) is a American Former professional infielder of the baseball. He was a part of Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Detroit Tigers, Oakland Athletics and the New York Yankees.

On the 23rd of October of 2009 Sizemore fractured his right leg in a crash during a game at the Arizona Fall League the previous day. On the 27th of October in 2009 Sizemore underwent surgery for his injured left ankle, with screws to support the joint of his ankle. Sizemore was able to return the field at the time of Spring Training in 2010.

Detroit optioned Sizemore back to the Triple-A Toledo Mud Hens on May 16,

2010. Sizemore’s average had slumped to .206 and he was in the midst of an 0–14 streak. Detroit recalled newcomer Danny Worth from Toledo and transferred veteran Carlos Guillén to second base.

Sizemore hit his first major league home run off Los Angeles Angels pitcher Joel Piñeiro on April 30, 2010. Coming in the same inning as Brennan Boesch’s first career home run, it was the first time two Tigers had hit their first career home runs in the same inning since Pop Dillon and Kid Elberfeld did it in 1901.

While Sizemore hasn’t been regarded to be the Major League shortstop, he is, as per his 2007 baseball player card Bowman Heritage Signs of Greatness played the position playing in minor leagues.
