Scott Ninnis is one of the most popular and richest Basketball Player who was born on December 25, 1965 in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. Ninnis’ dad Bruce was a champion basketball player at South Adelaide during the 1960s. Scott began playing basketball in church at the age of seven before becoming a member of South Adelaide when he was only 11 years old.

Ninnis was able to make the NBL debut on July 12, 1986 in The 10th round of 1986’s NBL game against Perth Wildcats at the home of the 36ers at The Apollo Stadium. Ninnis would later play 13 regular season games with the team that posted an all-time best record of 24-2 in the regular season, giving the team the title “The Invincibles”. The Adelaide 36ers of 1986 were able to take the first NBL Grand Final in 1986 by beating the reigning champions The Brisbane Bullets 2-1 in the Grand Final series. Ninnis was only able to participate in the final thirty seconds of game 3 in the series that the 36ers took the game 113-91.

While playing for the 36ers, Ninnis continued to play for South Adelaide in the SA State League (now Premier League), winning the championship in 1987 and again in 1989.

Scott Ninnis was recalled back into the 36ers squad by Fox full-time from

1988. He would remain with the club until the end of the 1990 NBL season before making the decision that if he wanted to further his game he would need a change of scenery. He then signed with the Brian Goorjian coached Eastside Melbourne Spectres in 1991 NBL season and played in his second NBL Grand Final that year, though the Spectres went down to the defending champion Perth Wildcats.

The 36ers’ coach Ken Cole was sacked after a marijuana smoking scandal in

1986. He was later replaced by the former NBL player Gary Fox. For Ninnis, Fox sent him to Adelaide Buffaloes. Adelaide Buffaloes in the SEABL in 1987. He played two NBL games in that 1987 NBL season (for the total of five minutes, 18 seconds). However, it was an absolute loss for Ninnis because the Buffaloes went on to be victorious in the SEABL championship the following year after a rout of their opponents the Ballarat Miners in the Grand Final.

Scott Ninnis (born 25 December 1965) is an Australian former professional basketball coach and player who spent the majority of his time as a player for Adelaide 36ers. Adelaide 36ers in the National Basketball League (NBL). He was awarded three NBL championships in his playing career between 1986 and 1998 with the 36ers as well as in 1992, when he played for the South East Melbourne Magic. Ninnis was also a member of in the Australian nation’s basketball squad throughout his time in the sport. He was a coach for the Adelaide 36ers team for two seasons as well as an assistant coach for the club as they were winners of the 1998-99 and 2001-01 NBL championships.
