The teachers he has worked with include Gerard Willems, Leslie Howard and Geoffrey Parsons.

Scott Davie (born 1966) is a Australian concert pianist who is based in Sydney.

In 2003, while looking up Rachmaninoff documents from the Library of Congress, Davie found a two-page sketch of an Rachmaninoff Piano piece. Although he was able draw a pencil sketch however, it wasn’t until much later when he realized that the sketch was finished. Davie was granted permission to use the composition by the great-granddaughter of the composer, Natalie Wanamaker Javier, while attending the 2006 International Rachmaninoff Conference in Amsterdam. The composition has been recorded, and then released via ABC Classics on his Pictures from an Exhibition CD. Since then, the work was performed by Vladimir Ashkenazy and released by Decca.

Davie specializes in the music of Rachmaninoff and has released two discs on ABC Classics featuring the composer’s music. In late November 2012, he gave the Australian premiere performances of the original version of Rachmaninoff’s 4th Piano Concerto with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Vladimir Ashkenazy, to capacity audiences at the Sydney Opera House.
