In 2018, Ogasawara quit the team and was replaced by Yoshimura to fill in as skip. The team saw immediately achieved success on the tour and would win at the 2017 Oakville Fall Classic. The team took part in two Slams during the 2018-19 season. They played at both the 2018 National and the 2019 Players’ Championships. They failed to make the playoffs in either of them.
A year after juniors her team remained together and participated in the 2013 Winter Universiade, finishing in 7th place. After the seasonended, Yoshimura was a part of the Ogasawara skating rink. In the World Curling Tour, they were able to win two events, in the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic and the Hub International Crown of Curling. In the 2014 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships, they received the bronze medal. It is not normally enough to be enough to qualify Japan to participate in World Championships, but because Japan hosted this event, they was able to represent their country at this year’s World Women’s Curling Championship, Yoshimura’s very first Worlds. The team placed in the sixth position. In 2015, they won another event on the tour in that of the Karuizawa International Curling Championship. The team competed at the Continental Cup of Curling where they were part of the losers Team World squad. They also played at the Humpty’s Champions Cup, the team’s first Grand Slam event, where they were eliminated in the quarterfinals.

Yoshimura had her first appearance on the international stage in the national team of Japan during the 2006 Pacific Junior Curling Championships, acting as lead in Team Japan, skipped by Megumi Kobayashi. They won an Olympic silver medal. Yoshimura was not back in at the Pacific Juniors until 2011, after which she skipped Japan to win gold during the 2010 Pacific Junior Curling Championships, which qualified her nation to compete in the World Junior Curling Championships. She was able to lead Japan to the 8th position. Additionally, that year she skipped Japan in the 2010 Winter Universiade, finishing 4th in the standings.
Yoshimura will once more guide Japan to gold in the Pacific Juniors in 2012. She then led Japan to an impressive 5th (6-4) place during the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships. She was awarded a second Gold medal from Japan in the 2013 Pacific-Asia Junior Curling Championships. She was able to make it onto an appearance on the podium in the World Juniors, leading Japan to a bronze medal at the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships. Following the round robin competition her team consisting of Rina Ida Risa Ujihara, and Mao Ishigaki finished in 2nd spot with a 6-3 record. But, they fell in both of their playoff matches before defeating their opponents from the Czech Republic in the bronze medal match.
Yoshimura set a record at the 2019 Masters, being the first women’s team from Asia to make a Grand Slam final, excluding inactive events.
