Sandra Nori is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on June 16, 1953 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. Sandra Christine Nori (born 16 June 1953 in Newcastle, New South Wales) is an ex- Australian politician, and currently an executive director of a company and a member of the Macquarie University Council.

In the first half of the 1990s, Nori was in a relationship with Paul Gibson, who was at the time a Labor Member for Londonderry. After Nori’s resignation out of the political arena in there were allegations that Gibson was implicated in an incident that resulted in a the assault of a police officer. These accusations were brought to the Premier Iemma by a different member of Parliament. The accused victim of the attack was the former girlfriend, Nori. Iemma reported the incident for investigation to NSW Police for investigation. The Police investigation determined that because of the lack of evidence there was no basis to indict or arrest Gibson.

In 2008, Nori was appointed to the Council of Macquarie University and also serves on the boards of the NSW TAFE Commission, Domain Resorts and Residences, and Komosion, a digital marketing and website publishing software company.

Sandra was appointed in 2011 to the National Board of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Australia and is currently Deputy Chair.

Nori was an elected participant in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly which represented those districts McKell (1988-1991) as well as Port Jackson (1991-2007) for the Labor Party. She held a variety of ministerial portfolios from 1999 to 2007. After leaving politics Nori was appointed to various positions as an executive director who is not a non-executive.
