Sandeep Vanga is one of the most popular and richest Film Director who was born on December 25, 1981 in Warangal, India. Sandeep Reddy Vanga (born 25 December 1981) is an Indian screenwriter and director. His directorial debut came with the highly commercially successful Telugu-language film Arjun Reddy. The film was also his directorial debut. Kabir Singh, Hindi Remake of Arjun Reddy starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani that was released on the 21st of June, 2019.

After being the apprentice at Vizag and then he decided to study his studies at the International Film School, Sydney (now called AFTT the Academy of Film, Theatre & Television), Australia.

He was introduced to Vijay Deverakonda by a common friend. He cast him as the lead for his directorial debut, Arjun Reddy. The film was released on 25 August 2017 and became a blockbuster hit with rave reviews. The film, produced on a budget of ₹4-5 crores, went on to gross more than ₹50 crores (US$8 million) at the box office.

Sandeep himself directed the Hindi version of Arjun Reddy titled as Kabir Singh. He signed up Shahid Kapoor as lead. Kiara Advani was roped for playing the female lead. The film was produced by Murad Khetani and Ashwin Warde and the rights to the original film were purchased for ₹ 15 million. The shooting began in July 2018 and the movie was released on 21 June 2019 and became a commercial success at the box office.

He began creating the story to play Arjun Reddy at the beginning of 2013, and completed the script in just the space of a year. Producers, Swapna Dutt, and Sharwanand were interested in playing the role , but it didn’t work out because Sharwaand was working on multiple projects on the go at the time.

Sandeep married Manisha Reddy Vanga in 2014 and they have a son, Arjun Reddy Vanga (b.2016), which he used his son’s name for the main character in his debut film Arjun Reddy.
