Enongo Lumumba- Kasongo (born on 20th March 1986) also often referred to as Sammus and often referred to as SDMMUS is a rapper from the American hip-hop artist from the underground, former teacher and record producer.

Sammus has been touring across the U.S. with Mega Ran on the Rappers with Arm Cannons tour in the year 2015. Sammus has performed at SXSW Music Festival from 2015, as well as the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX East) in 2015, Geek Girl Con in 2014 and 2015. She has plans to perform again in the year 2016. She been a part of the East Coast’s largest music as well as gaming event, MAGfest, in 2015 and 2016. In June of 2017, she was a guest in McCarren Park, at Greenpoint Brooklyn as part of the Northside Festival.

Sammus has a bachelor’s in education in education from Cornell University. Then she worked full-time as a teacher at Houston, Texas for Teach for America. Sammus came back to Cornell in the fall of 2011 to pursue the PhD on Science and Technology Studies. She was awarded the MA in Science and Technology Studies in 2015. In the year 2019, she earned her degree in absconditio during her time in Philadelphia. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher with Brown University’s Cogut Institute for the Humanities at Brown University.
