Sakshi Maharaj is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on January 12, 1956 in Kanshi Ram Nagar, India. Swami Sachchidanand Hari Sakshi Ji Maharaj is also known by the name of Sakshi Maharaj (born 12 January 1956) is an Indian politician and religious leader who is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was the winner of the 2014 general election in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. He also won the Indian general elections for the year 1991, from Mathura as well as 1996, and in 1998 Farrukhabad. He was also an elected member of the Rajya Sabha from 2000 to 2006 before being suspended due to corruption. He has an PhD degree, and oversees a variety of schools and ashrams throughout India under the umbrella of the Sakshi Maharaj Group for which the director is also the director at present.

The 1999 election was a general one, and he ran for the Samajwadi Party after he was refused a Farrukhabad ticket by BJP. After the results of the 1999 election were announced, Mulayam Singh formally admitted his membership to Samajwadi Party. Sakshi Maharaj claimed that the BJP’s policies are not favorable to the poor and backward parts of society. The ticket was not granted to him at the direction from Atal Bihari Vajpayee. At the time, Sakshi was an accused in the murder of Brahm Dutt Dwivedi who was one of the close associates of Vajpayee. However, the charges were later removed due to the lack of evidence. He was elected to the Rajya Sabha in 2000. received a nomination as a member of be a member of the Rajya Sabha by Mulayam Singh Yadav.
