Saeed Jalili (Persian Saeed Jalili (Persian: syd Jlyly ; born in September 1965) is an Iranian conservative politician and diplomat. He was Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council from 2007 until 2013. He also served as Iranian nuclear negotiator. He was previously the deputy Foreign Minister in charge of European as well as American Affairs. Jalili was not a successful candidate in the presidential election, finishing third.

Immediately after leaving the office, he was appointed by the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to the Expediency Council as a member.
