Sachiko Masumi (Masu Jian Xiao Zhi Zi, Masumi Sachiko) is a Japanese track-and-field athlete who competes at the long jump. She holds a personal record of 6.65m in long jump. She also competes occasionally in triple jump with a best of 13.34m. In 2008 and 2009, she was the Japanese Champion.
Masumi won the Shizuoka International in May with a leap of 6.59m, but Ikeda prevailed at the Japanese Championships of 2010 a month later. Both were competing at the 2010 Asian Games. Masumi finished eighth. She was absent from the 2011 season, but returned in 2012. She placed second at national championships that year, won the triple jump at Japanese Games, and did a long jump/triple leap double at corporate championship. Masumi finished second at the 2013 Japanese Championships. She was beaten by Saeko Okayama. However, she defeated her rival at the 2013 Asian Athletics Championships and cleared 6.55m to win the gold medal. This was her first major title.
Masumi won the 2009 national championships with a second win. She set a personal record of 6.65m and defeated Kumiko Ikeda. She made her debut at major championships. However, she was unable to make it past the qualifying stage for the 2009 World Championships in Athletics in Berlin. After winning the Japanese corporate title in long jump, she won the National Games gold medal at the 2009 Asian Athletics Championships. This was her first international medal.

Sachiko Masumi was born in Kagawa Prefecture. She attended Akiyoshi junior school and competed in many track and field events during her youth. In her junior high school year, she began to excel in long jump. She placed third in that event and cleared six metres for the first-time at the Japanese Athletics Championships. She won the 2001 national title for high schools and set the junior national record of 6.43m.
