S. P. B. Charan is one of the most popular and richest Actor who was born on January 7, 1972 in Chennai, India. He and his childhood friends Venkat Prabhu, Premgi Amaren, and Premgi were instrumental in starting Next Generation, a band that included Yugendran, Thaman, and others.

Charan first acted alongside his father in a film called Maha Yedabidangi. It was directed by K. S. L. Swamy. The film was never released. Kailasam, Balachander’s child, approached him to perform in Oonjal on television. It was produced by K. Balachander. The director was Sundar K. Vijayan. Radan’s Annamalai followed. He also appeared in TV serials named Bommaigal (Tamil) and Akka Chellulu (Telugu). B. Manjunath directed his first Kannada film, Hudugigagi, in 2003. He played the role of Saroja in Venkat Prabhu’s Saroja in 2008. Sify wrote about his performance: “S.P.B Charan’s portrayal of Jagapathy Babu is perfect for the role. He was the role of Shiva’s brother-in-law in Va. Charan founded the film production company Capital Film Works in 2002. Charan and Venkat Prabhu played the leading roles in Unnai Charanadainthen. Four Tamil Nadu State Film Awards were given to the film, which featured a musical score composed by Balasubrahmanyam, Charan’s father. Charan said that he made the decision to produce the film after listening to Samuthirakani’s narration. Jayam Ravi, who was also producing Mazhai (2006), a remake Telugu film Varsham. Venkat Prabhu’s directorial debut Chennai 600028 (2007) was his next production. It was a groundbreaking film with 11 newcomers and it became one of the most successful commercial and critical films of 2007. His sixth production, Aaranya Kanam, was released in 2011. It received critical acclaim. The Central Board of Film Certification awarded 52 cuts to the film. Although the film did not reach the box office, Charan was awarded a Swarna Kamal at 59th National Film Awards for his work as a producer. He will next be starring in Thirudan Police by Caarthick Raju, a debutant.
