Ruhama Avraham is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on January 29, 1964 in Rishon LeZion, Central District, Israel. Avraham was elected chair of the House Committee after the establishment of Ehud Olmert’s 31st government. She directed a fight to reduce the Arrangements Law, which would have economic sanctions on Israel. It also reduced its provisions and canceled a quarter. MK Avraham also initiated the “Hot Meal for the Student Law”, which saw 250,000 students get hot meals at schools.

She left the Likud faction at the end of November 2005 and, along with Ariel Sharon (the prime minister) and 12 MKs, founded the Kadima party. She was elected to the 17th Knesset and was placed at the 18th spot on the list.

On 30 March 2005, she was appointed Deputy Minister of the Interior by then- Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.

On 4 July 2007, as part of a round of government portfolios, Avraham was appointed to serve as the liaison between the government and the Knesset, which is responsible for the loneliness of the 60th anniversary of the State of Israel. Ruhama Avraham Balla (Hebrew: RvHmh Abrhm BlylA, 29 January 1964) was an Israeli politician. She served as a member in the Knesset for Likud or Kadima from 2003 to 2013. She was also Deputy minister of interior Minister for Tourism, and Minister without Portfolio responsible liaison with the Knesset. She was also in charge of Israel’s 60th Independence Day celebrations.

In the early 1990s, she began her political career working as an assistant for Avigdor Lieberman, Likud general manager. She was the bureau chief for the opposition leader, and later the prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Later, she was a selection adviser to Lieberman’s Minister of National Infrastructures.

At the end of 2005, Interior Minister Ophir Pines resigned. Avraham, who served as Deputy Minister of Interior, received the powers of the Minister of the Interior. She became the acting interior minister until the end of the 2006 election campaign. During her tenure as interior minister, the interior minister first came out with a municipal bond program that was implemented in the cities of Ramla, Yehud, Eilat and Ra’anana.
