Rudy Rupak is one of the most popular and richest Screenwriter who was born on November 14, 1968 in Chiswick, England, United Kingdom. Rudy was born in Chiswick (UK) on 14 November 1968. Rudy was 17 years old when he sold his first business, a software company, to Corel Corp. shortly after completing high school. Rudy moved to Canada in order to continue his passion for filmmaking after spending a year at University of Calgary and Simon Fraser. Rudy worked for three years in various film distribution firms before establishing his own production company, Millennium Multimedia. Millennium was responsible to several video games, including PRIMORTALS (the first game about snowboarding) and Boardlords (the second). Rudy Rupak created Snowboard Academy for Colombia Tri-Star Entertainment in 1996, along with She’s Too Tall for Me.

Rudy founded PlanetHospital, the first company to offer medical tourism. He started it organically in his own home while he was still Chief Technology Officer at American Apparel. From 2002 to 2005, the company grew organically and then accelerated its growth when it was mentioned in numerous media articles, including Nightline, CNN and Time Magazine.

Rudy Rupak was the first person to send a foreign patient to India for surrogacy. It was a huge risk for all parties but it was successful. In 2007 Rudy sent around 25 couples to India for surrogacy, the first year he offered the service. Based on this success, Rudy introduced the first gay surrogacy in India and soon Commercial surrogacy in India became a billion dollar industry. Rudy eventually introduced surrogacy to Panama, Greece and eventually Mexico. After GLHV acquired PlanetHospital, the board requested that Rudy only focus on surrogacy, a decision he vehemently protested against and ultimately led a fight to get the company back.

In 2009, Rudy Rupak attempted to create an insurance product based on Medical Tourism, called DIASPORA, but the concept was deemed illegal by the California Department of Insurance and Rudy was forced to give up more shares to his investors who ultimately decided to take PlanetHospital public through a reverse merger with GlobalHealth Voyager (GLHV)(OTCBB: GLHV). GlobalHealth’s board ordered PlanetHospital to focus on surrogacy only and forgo marketing other aspects of medical tourism, as aspect that Rudy was not too happy with, forcing Rudy to fight a long battle to get PlanetHospital back.

Rudy’s 1996 mistakenly identified Millennium Multimedia as a company that was involved in Y2K projects. He seized the opportunity to develop a software program that could scan a computer’s bios and determine if it was compatible with Y2K. In 1997, Planet City Software was listed on the stock exchange under the trading symbol PINC. Rudy developed an online ecommerce tool called ecommkit in 1998. He then joined American Apparel as its first Chief Technology Officer.

Rudy spent three years working in film distribution before he started Millennium Multimedia Inc in 1995. In late 2006 PlanetHospital sent the first gay patient to India for surrogacy and within two years surrogacy became a $100 million plus enterprise throughout the globe.
