Rozalla Miller, better known simply as Rozalla (born 18 March 1964), is a Zimbabwean electronic musician. She was born in North Rhodesia and later Zambia to a Zimbabwean father. At the age of 18, she moved with her parents to Zimbabwe, her father’s home country. Her three hit singles, “Faith(In the Power of Love”) and “Are you Ready To Fly”, were her best-known hits. She was ranked 98th by Billboard magazine in December 2016.
The UK Singles Chart reached number 30 with a 1996 remix of “Everybody’s Free”. Her 1998 album, Coming Home, saw her reunited with the Band of Gypsies. It also spawned a hit stateside with the lead single “Don’t Go Lose It Babe”, which was produced by METRO.
In 2015, Rozalla returned to the Top 10 of the Billboard Club Dance Charts for the first time since 1994 with her track “If You Say It Again”. This was quickly followed by the single ‘Shadows of the Moon’.

Rozalla opened all his shows in Europe during Michael Jackson’s Dangerous Tour 1992, including the UK. Rozalla started performing in her native Zambia at an early age, singing at events and in clubs. At 13, she was singing on a children’s TV program. She moved to Zimbabwe in her teens and began her own recording career, with five number-one songs on the country’s charts. Rozalla moved to London in 1988 with Chris Sergeant, her manager. She worked with the Band of Gypsies (a production duo of Tim Cox and Nigel Swanston).
Rozalla’s UK debut single, “Born to Luv Ya”, became a hit club song in 1990. His career took off in 1991 when his dance anthem “Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good),” reached number 6 on the UK Singles Chart. Soon after, it was a Top 10 hit in many European nations and made it to the Billboard Top 40. It is still her greatest hit. Later, it was included on her debut album “Everybody’s Free”, which reached number 20 in the UK Albums Charts and went gold. Two more hits were spawned by the album, “Faith(In the Power of Love”)” and “Are You Ready to Fly”, which reached number 11 and 14 in the UK Singles Charts. A lesser-charting single was “Love Breakdown”.
In 2003, Rozalla entered the lower regions of the UK Singles Chart alongside Plastic Boy on the song “Live Another Life”. She issued the jazz/soul album Brand New Version in 2009, adding her surname Miller to her recording guise. She promoted the album by performing as Billy Ocean’s support act on his UK tour of 2009. A Global Deejays remix of “Everybody’s Free” reached number 7 in Australia in 2009 after it had been used as the theme song to So You Think You Can Dance.
