He was also the leader singer of progressive rock group Presto Ballet. Munroe was a singer in the Trans- Siberian Orchestra’s October 2011 concert.

Munroe and his Manager/wife J Von Hughes founded “Munroe’s Thunder” in December 2015. A full-length record is currently in production. Munroe started out as the lead singer of Zero Discipline and then moved on to lead vocals for Madhouse. Munroe was first a singer with Moxi. From 1986 to 1988, he was the lead singer for Paladin in Seattle. In the early nineties, he was also in FarCry. Munroe was in the Seattle band Rottweiller at the time he was asked to audition by Kurdt Vanderhoof, for a project that he was currently working on. Kurdt Vanderhoof was asked to audition for Metal Church. Munroe was chosen as their frontman. Ronny was a member of Metal Church for three albums before they ended their career in 2009. Ronny joined Kurdt’s progressive rock band Presto Ballet in 2010. The Invisible Places album was released, as well as the EP Love What You’ve Done With the Place. Ronny joined Trans-Siberian Orchestra in October 2011 as a singer for their Fall/Winter tour.

Munroe released the Internal Quest EP on 2007 and his full-length debut, The Fire Within, was released on April 20, 2009. Ronny released Lords of the Edge, his third solo album, on October 11, 2011. Lords of the Edge features contributions by Chris Caffery (guitarist, Rock in a Hard Place) to the album. Rick Van Zandt and Stu Marshall are also featured on the record.

In 2018, Munroe formed a supergroup, the band being called Peacemaker. The band’s debut album Concrete and Terror will be released in September.
