She was named a “chosen artifact” by the Israel Cultural Excellence Foundation in 2005. She is openly gay, and is a symbol in Israel’s gay and lesbian community. She was photographed in 2007 for Comme Il Faut, an Israeli fashion house.

Maya Dunietz and Shlomi Shaban were among the guests on the album. It was difficult for her to write in her native tongue, she said. She fell into deep depression after the album was released. She had to cancel shows because her health was deteriorating. Ashdot advised her to move back with her parents in order to heal. They decided to not share her feelings with anyone.
