Roman Konoplev is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on September 4, 1973 in Pochep, Russia. Roman Konoplev was conceived in Bryansk Oblast (Russian SFSR) on September 4, 1973. Roman Konoplev and his parents moved to Dnestrovsc in the Moldavian SSR in 1978. He moved to Russia in October 1992. Konoplev, also known as Transnistria, returned to Pridnestrovie in the summer 2002.

After Dugin’s departure from the NBP in 1998, Konoplev joined the party in spring 1998 and was later included in the Central Committee of that party. He began to engage new supporters for his ideas, ideas that were different from those of the party leaders. Konoplev didn’t support an armed invasion to Kazakhstan. The intraparty conflict flared when the NBP leaders insisted that Roman Konoplev needed to arrange confrontation in Moldova by storming upon Chisinau, Transnistria, while thousands of pro-European students were holding mass meetings of Christian Democratic People’s Party. Konoplev left the party and within a short time, NBP’s activities were reprimanded by a Russian court. Konoplev later criticized the tactics of “direct actions” in his publications. This was when NBP organized anarchist activities. The NBP activists were criminally charged and sentenced to prison.

His career as a publicist started at the age of 16 (his first publication was in the newspaper “Power engineer”). In 1998 – 2002 his publications appeared in the Russian opposition press.

Because of being in opposition, Konoplev was several times called in for questioning by the FSB (Federal Security Service of Russia), and he was arrested by the Ministry of the Interior of Russia for distributing the newspaper “Ultra. Info. Bryansk” in December 2000. Konoplev was included in the federal list of extremists in 2006.

Roman was the rock-bard and leader of “Volshebnaya Gora”, giving concerts from 1997 to 1999 (transl. “Magic Mountain”). Participated in rock-festivals and political concerts, including “Oskolskaya Lilia”, “Zhelesniy Mar”, etc.

From 1998 to 2003 Roman Konoplev was a member of the National Bolshevik Party (NBP), he was the leader of Bryansk regional department of the party, and a member of Central Committee of the party. Konoplev left his Party activities after the Party’s ideology had changed. In the December 2000 he took part in the Bryansk local elections.
