Roland Lefebvre is one of the most popular and richest Dutch cricketer who was born on February 7, 1963 in Rotterdam, South Holland, Netherlands. Roland Philippe Lefebvre, born 7 February 1963, is a former Dutch cricketer. He was also a former ODI captain of the Netherlands. Lefebvre, despite not being exposed to international games at the time is still considered one of the few Test-playing countries to have a successful career in the professional game.
Glamorgan signed Lefebvre for 1993. His consistent accuracy made him difficult to beat in one-day cricket, as demonstrated by his superb bowling analysis of 11-5-13-2 against Worcestershire in the quarter-finals of the NatWest Trophy match. Glamorgan’s 1993 Sunday League victory was helped by Lefebvre’s exceptional bowling.
After the 2003 World Cup, Lefebvre quit playing and is now a coach for the Dutch youth.

Lefebvre was first to play with Somerset in 1990 against Oxford University. He then won 5/30 the week following his first appearance in the County Championship. He claimed 7/15, which was the fifth-best return in List A cricket at the time. This came in Somerset’s 346-run win against Devon in the NatWest Trophy that year. He spent the winter playing for Canterbury in New Zealand, where he scored his career-best first class bowling score of 6/45. Then he returned to England in 1991 and scored his only first-class 100, against Worcestershire.
Lefebvre was forced to retire from professional cricket in 1995 after sustaining a bad groin injury. However, he continued to play for his country in ICC Trophy. He holds many career records for the competition, including most appearances (43), most wickets (71 at 11.64) as well as most catches (26). Lefebvre also represented the Netherlands at the full One Day International level, in the 2003 and 1996 World Cups, and in 2002/03 Champions Trophy. He was the Dutch captain from 1999 to 2004.
