The show was choreographed and directed by Susan Stroman, a Tony Award winner at Off-Broadway’s Vineyard Theatre. It ran from February 18 to April 18. The show will play a second production at The Guthrie Theatre, Minneapolis, Minnesota, July 31-September 25. The show received 9 Drama Desk nominations, including Best New Musical, 6 Outer Critics Circle Awards, including Best New Musical. It also won two Lucille Lortel Awards, Outstanding New Musical Choreography and Outstanding Choreography. After previews began on the 6th of October 2010, the show premiered on Broadway on October 31, 2010.
