Camphor, originally from Baltimore, Maryland, left his hometown to attend Highland Community College. Camphor joined the local university team and went to the NJCAA (the league of two-year universities) at the beginning. He moved to Southwestern Oklahoma State University, NCAA Division II in 2012. Camphor was the top scorer on the team, scoring 17.7 points per match during his senior year.
Camphor, who was not selected in the 2014 NBA Draft, signed with Nevezis of Lithuanian League. Camphor signed with Bayer Giants Leverkusen in December 2015. Camphor averaged 15.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per match. Leverkusen was not able to make it to the Bundesliga ProA’s relegation this season.
