Coleman previously wrote, recorded, and performed with The Brothers Grim and The Everly Brothers.
Burnette co-wrote “You Got Away With Love”, a European hit, for Percy Sledge. It was produced in 1997 by Barry Goldberg and Saul Davis. Burnette continues to perform internationally at various rockabilly shows.
Burnette was a collaborator with Rosie Flores (and Dwight Twilley) in the mid- 1990s. She also contributed vocals to the song “Trouble Is I’m In Love With You” from Paul Burlison’s 1997 Train Keep A-Rollin’. Burnette released Tear It up on Core Records in 1996.

His single “Tired Of Toein’ The Line” was a No. 1 hit in the summer 1980. 8 in the United States. Burnette toured Europe in 1981 with the last version of his father’s Rock and Roll Trio. The band was also featured on Burnette’s next album, Get Hot Or Go Home! Enigma Records. It was also a poor seller, so Enigma Records dropped Burnette and Trio instead of releasing a follow up.
