Robin Harmony, born October 20, 1961, is an American college basketball coach. She is currently the head coach of College of Charleston Cougars’ women’s basketball team. She was previously the head coach at Lamar University and St. Thomas University. She was previously an assistant coach for six years and as associate head coach for twelve years at the Miami Hurricanes. Before returning to the Hurricanes, she split her time at the University of Miami. She was an assistant coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University one season.

Harmony was a three year letter winner at Hershey High school in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She was a four-year letter winner at the University of Miami. Harmony’s four-season Miami record included 1,308 points and 750 rebounds as well as 415 assists, 314 steals, and 415 rebounds. She still holds the Miami single-game assist record with 14, and is currently ranked 10th on Miami’s all-time scoring charts and fifth in rebounding. She continued basketball in Northampton for the Avon Cosmetics women’s team. In her one season, she was the Most Valuable Player of the team. Harmony was also involved in coaching the team.

Coach Harmony resigned her position on April 19, 2019 to become head women’s basketball coach for the College of Charleston.

Harmony was appointed Lamar women’s basketball coach on April 30, 2013. In Harmony’s first year as Lamar women’s basketball head coach, the Lady Cardinals had an overall record 18-13 and a conference record 13-5. In the regular season, her team was Southland Conference cochampion. The WNIT was the fourth post-season tournament for the Lady Cardinals over a five year period. With a record of 17-1 each season, her 2017-18 and 2018-19 Southland Conference regular-season championship teams won. After losing in the Southland Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament, both teams participated in the WNIT.

Harmony was awarded many honors while playing basketball. She was inducted in the Class of 1997 and became the first woman’s basketball player inducted into University of Miami’s Sports Hall of Fame. Harmony was honored as an Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Basketball Legend in 2013.
